JTWR (John The White Rapper, later known as Mister Lacey) had a bit of a buzz around this time - signed to Sony and looking like a potentially big crossover UK artist. Then the deal fell through and the last news I can find on him is of a relocation to L.A. around 2006. If anyone has more information on what he's doing now, let me know.
