1992 Mazda Autozam AZ-1 Modern Classic Kei Car Review and Drive

Lots of people won't know what this quirky looking car is - the windows look like they are from a McLaren F1, the doors a Mercedes Gullwing, and with rear lights like a Ferrari. Originally proposed by Suzuki but ultimately released by Mazda in 1992, the Autozam AZ-1 is a Japanese 'Kei car', meaning it is a small compact car with less than 660cc. The engine was by Suzuki, with 660cc, 3 cylinders, and turbocharged and it sounds amazing. Mazda only made about 4,300 units of the AZ1 from 1992 to 1994 so this is a proper rare car - check out how it performs in this video!
