Subrata's Recovery from Tandem Stenosis | Dr. S. Vidyadhara | Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road

Mr. Subrata Nandi, from Murshidabad, West Bengal, visited Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road, in 2019 with severe low back pain radiating to both legs, neck pain, numbness in all limbs, and bladder dysfunction. His condition was diagnosed as Tandem Stenosis with spinal instability by Dr. S. Vidyadhara, Chairman and HOD of Spine Surgery. Given his role as the sole breadwinner, Dr. Vidyadhara recommended comprehensive surgery for both the neck and lower back issues. Mr. Nandi underwent Cervical Limited Laminectomy and Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion. The surgery was successful, and he walked the next day. Five years later, Mr. Nandi is fully recovered, leading an active life and fulfilling his responsibilities.
