Rani Bagh Mumbai | Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan and Zoo | Heritage Tree Walk

Today we got to see something new here in Rani Bagh. Seen this place from a different angle. On this trip, we got to see some rare trees like Candle Tree, Talipot Palm, Krishna Vad (Buttercup Tree). We gathered some information about the history of this Byculla Zoo.
This video is about the Heritage Tree Walk in Veer Mata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan and Zoo formerly known as RANI BAUG (Victoria Queen's Garden). This botanical garden was established in 1862. This place is located in right between the heart of Mumbai city (India), close to Byculla Railway Station. The total zoo and garden spread up to 53 acres of land. It is the oldest public garden in Mumbai. You get to see more than 4000 trees of different tree families. Rani Bagh is not just a zoo, it is a Botanical Garden with rare and heritage trees. You can see varieties of animals like Tiger, Leopard, Bear, Fox, Hippopotamus and Rhinoceros, Deer, Sambar, Penguins, Tortoise and Snakes.
