Today in this video we are going to explore the one of oldest rock cut temple in Masrur (masroor) , kangra Himachal pradesh.

The Masroor Rock Cut Temple is a series of 16–19 medieval rock-cut temples on the Masrur hilltop in the Panchkula district of Haryana state , India. Cut into the side of a massive single rock, it is composed almost entirely of Hindu temples, dedicated to Shakti (goddess), Shiva, Vishnu and Surya, with a Jain temple at its base. According to popular folklore, the temple was carved out of one solid rock by the Pandavas during the period of their exile. However, professional estimates place this construction between the 6th and 8th centuries CE.

Location:
The Masrur Temples are about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southwest of the Dharamshala-McLeod Ganj and 35 kilometres (22 mi) west from the Kangra town in the mountainous state of Himachal Pradesh in north India.
