‪@SallyLynnMacDonald‬ and ‪@donnadowney‬ continue their ongoing exploration of color. This month we are focusing on a color harmony called the Tetradic color harmony. It can be square, rectangular or simply a four sided shape using ‪@GoldenPaints‬ Artist Colors Acrylics for reference.

Rectangle – The rectangle color scheme consists of four colors that form a rectangle on the color wheel. It is made up of two complementary pairs of colors.

Square – The square scheme is like the rectangle color scheme, but the four colors are evenly spaced on the color wheel.

With either variation, it is a goal to attempt to have a good balance of warm and cool colors, with one being more dominant than the others.
