Exploring some of the trails in South Nanaimo in my 2000 Land Rover Discovery II, equipped with 33” mud terrain tires, an electronic centre diff lock and the factory 4ETC traction control system as well as a 2” lift. This particular trail is well shaded from the sun and much of the mud remains early in the summer. What makes this trail difficult is the many root systems combined with the muddy terrain.
