What's up youtube! MikeDecIsHere bringing you a Black and White UU Battle against a real good buddy of mine from the TPX chat, GoldRules2. This is the first battle we had that didn't DC, so I absolutely had to upload it. It's really a great battle, with tons of predictions and great kills. I hope you guys enjoy!

As you can see, I am using the same team that I used against Haydunn. I actually really like the versatility of this team, and its ability to break walls thanks to the sheer power of Archeops and the RegiBro core of my own. These Pokes actually don't get to do too much in this battle, but you get to see my other guys shine a bit. Watch and enjoy!

So I did some calcs for the Archeops crit, and this is what I came up with:

Archeops (with my spread) w/o Item Acrobatics vs.

252 HP 4 Def Adamant Technician Hitmontop ~ 392 - 464 (128.9% - 152.6%)
252 HP 252 Def Adamant Technician Hitmontop ~ 308 - 336 (101.3% - 120.4%)
252 HP 252 Def Impish Technician Hitmontop ~ 284 - 336 (93.4% - 110.5%)

So yeah, the only way that Hitmontop would have had a chance to survive is if it was Max HP Max Def with a positive nature. I doubt that that was the spread though, since there was no Intimidate. I'm assuming if anything that it's spread is closer to the first one, but then again I'm not really sure. I think it's safe to assume that the crit really didn't matter in this case. Of course, if it was a mis sav and he meant to have Intimidate, then it would have most likely mattered, but I doubt it based on the nature of his team.

Epic predictions. Hitting that T-Bolt on the Slowbro felt so satisfying. I've always been a go with your gut user, and I instantaneously thought that T-Bolt was the superior move. Glad that it payed off in this case ^_^. I was actually thinking after I thought of using T-Bolt to use Pain Split for a very long time. I knew one of his walls was going to come back in, and getting the extra HP back would have been very nice. It would have required a lot less prediction of course, and it wouldn't have been as cool of a kill.
