Pipe and Simple Routing Preferences in Autodesk Revit

A piping system is a network of pipes, fittings, and valves designed to accomplish a certain function, such as carrying or transferring fluids between components of equipment.

Routing preferences are determined by the pipe’s composition and the fittings utilized. The setting for each fitting can be set automatically according to preference size for such elbow, junction, and more.

This lesson will show configuring a new pipe type by setting its routing parameters.
