From Mumbai to Helsinki - so excited to meet Finnish side of family after so long!

We last visited my home country Finland, and my family there in Christmas 2021. We've been yearning to go again ever since. And I've always wanted Annika to experience my favourite season there - summer. So, it’s been quite a while since I’ve been this excited about travelling, so it doesn’t really matter that we’ve had to wake up in the middle of the night to start our looong journey to Finland. And anyways, things could be worse. At least our new Mumbai home is just a short drive from the airport and there are no traffic jams in the middle of the night.

After a short layover in Istanbul, we reached my mom's partner's house in Hämeenlinna. This is where we are planning to spend most of the summer. You've already seen this house in winter, and it gets even prettier during the summer season. Also, you'll get to meet some familiar faces if you've seen my Finland winter series from 2021. I hope you enjoy our journey :)
