🪧 Thousands of protesters marched loudly through the streets of Midtown Manhattan on Friday as Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was speaking at the U.N. General Assembly.

The protest wasn't only in the streets—dozens of delegates walked out of the General Assembly Hall as Netanyahu took to the podium and vowed to "finish the job" against Hamas.

Protesters expressed outrage that Netanyahu was given the global platform or even permitted to enter the U.S.

Last year, the U.N.-backed International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu over Israel's actions in Gaza.

The U.S. does not recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC, and President Trump has mostly stood by Netanyahu despite the international pressure.
