21.8 Michael Reactions | Organic Chemistry

Chad provides a comprehensive lesson on Michael Reactions which involve conjugate or 1,4-addition to a conjugated ketone. A conjugated ketone is referred to as the Michael acceptor and typical Michael donors include the enolate of a beta-diketone and organocuprates (Gilmann reagents).
