Backpacking the Trinity Alps: Canyon Creek - Part 1

4-day solo backpacking trip in the Trinity Alps over Thanksgiving weekend. Exploring snow-capped mountains, pristine alpine lakes, multiple waterfalls & cascades...what more could you ask for on a backpacking trip? 😃

I got super lucky with a mostly snow-free trek along the Canyon Creek Trail in Northern California, before the first major winter storms hit. This trail is typically bustling with backpackers and dayhikers in Spring and Summer, but I only saw 2 people along the entire trail to Canyon Creek Lakes. Enjoy!
