This time we're going deeper on why your shots lack depth.

The first reason is depth perception from the perspective behind the baseline. Even when you play slightly over the baseline, you will perceive / see very little space between the ball and the baseline and therefore not attempt any deeper shots.

But in reality there is still over 4-5 meters of space to hit into.

The second reason I call "not trusting gravity" because I see that players don't really want to hit above the net as if that they don't trust gravity which should bring the ball down in the court before the baseline.

Because they are so certain that the ball will fly long, they never attempt hitting high over the net with good pace.

I am asking you to experiment with speed, height and spin and find that deep ball in the last meter that gives problems to your opponents - namely forcing mistakes and short balls which you can then attack.
