Since we still had a few days with the Laowa Probe Lens Jes asked us if we wanted to come and film her bees. We then decided to turn this into a little doco to see how we would go with using only the bmpcc6k instead of our C200.

I actually got surprised and found shooting on the pocket 6k very easy and I didn’t miss the autofocus or internal NDs much.
Most of it was shot handheld except for the macro shots and the interview.
I used 2 batteries for the shoot and the interview was done with the power cable. The whole thing took around 3hrs from start to finish. Only natural light.

Edited in Final Cut Pro X and Graded with FilmConvert.
