How To Start Your Dyna-Glo Patio Heater

How to Start Your Dyna-Glo Patio Heater:
1. Turn the propane cylinder valve to open.
2. Push control knob IN and rotate to the Pilot position. For the initial start hold the control knob in for approximately 1.5 minutes to purge air from the gas lines before proceeding. Do not exceed holding the knob in for more than 2 minutes.
3. Continue to hold control knob in while pushing and releasing the ignitor button. You should see the pilot light ignite.
4. After the pilot light ignites, continue to hold the control knob down for up to 30 seconds.
5. Slowly release the control knob. The pilot light should remain lit. It the pilot light goes out, repeat steps 1-2 before proceeding.
6. Turn the control knob counterclockwise. The burner should light. If it does not light, return to step 1.
7. Adjust the flame to the desired temperature.
