Guild Outfitters in cab 400W / 120V power outlet install | (2017 Tacoma)

Hello and welcome, thanks for stoping by. Today I'm installing a much needed accessory. It's a 400W / 120V power outlet in the cab that can run the 400W while in motion/vehicle on and you are driving. The kit came with everything needed for the install and uses Toyota factory parts for the plug. I'm almost positive the plug comes from the 4Runner lineup. Install was a simple process with simple tools. The location of the plug was strategically positioned as to not get in the way of the passenger, but still reachable from the driver seat. This outlet makes charging goodies on the way to base camps super convenient and easy. If you are going to place it in the same position as I did move the out let just a bit towards the seat, away from the firewall. This will help clear any brackets behind the plastic.
