Hello!


Do you remember my first video? I was at Penedo da Saudade, in Coimbra, where we had a fantastic view over Lousã Mountains and I remember mentioning the Schist Villages. Some of you asked me to go there and do a video about it. Well... the time has come and I am delivering!


I took my sister for her first (ever) visit to the enchanting Schist Village of Talasnal. We went for a hike and started by visiting the (brand new) Castle Walkways and then went through a trail that led us to Talasnal, with plenty of interesting things to appreciate on the way! Upon arriving at Talasnal we were greeted by many four-legged companions, who kept us entertained during our lunch hour and just before we continued our journey through the mountains to explore Louçaínha Beach and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Mercy!


WOW what a fantastic day hearing the water running and the birds singing, being amazed by big waterfalls, interacting with animals and enjoying the sound of silence! And we could still appreciate the sunset as we drove back home... how lucky are we to live so close to this place?! Lousã is just a 30min drive from Coimbra!
