Being kind isn't the same as being nice and more people need to know the difference. 😭

A person could be nice, but not kind. And someone can also be kind, but not nice.

Being "nice" is more about being polite and agreeable while being "kind" is more about the intentions.

If a person doesn't smile often and they speak in a standoffish tone but they're quick to help others and lend a hand, they might not be nice but they are kind.

If a person says things with a smile and are polite when they talk but they put down and judge others, they might be nice but they're not too kind.

And I don't know about you, but I would MUCH rather be kindhearted even if I'm not "nice" rather than the other way around. 🤷‍♀️
