Lunar Mission One is an exploratory robotic mission that will use pioneering drilling technology to deliver extraordinary new insights into the origins of the Moon and the Earth. Supported by some of the most prominent bodies and institutions in science, education and space, including technical advisors RAL Space, Lunar Mission One will send an unmanned robotic landing module to the South Pole of the Moon – an area unexplored by previous missions. Using an innovative crowdfunding method – which includes sales of space in an innovative 21st century time capsule - to finance the mission, anyone from around the world can get involved for as little as a few pounds.
