A bespoke six metre screen and 5.1 surround sound immerses visitors in the powerful, emotional, and enduring story of Wallace's life, from his rise to prominence and victory at Stirling Bridge, to his elevation to national icon.

We worked with artist Richard Anderson to develop a distinct visual narrative and original illustrations with a bold, monochromatic style. Brush stroke effects drive camera movement. Ink spots representing water and blood emphasise the more violent aspects of the story. Additional layers of smoke, glare and particle effects create mood whilst adding depth.

The film has a dynamic, tension-building score by composer Giles Lamb. The script was developed by BBC Director Richard Downes and is recorded in eight languages.
