The suspects involved in the murder of a security guard during a robbery in Karachi have been arrested.

According to reports, on August 17, the suspects opened indiscriminate fire on a security guard who confronted them while they were robbing a family traveling in a rickshaw. The suspects fled the scene after the shooting and also took away the guard’s weapon.

According to the SIU (Special Investigation Unit), the injured security guard succumbed to his wounds on the spot. Using technical evidence, the SIU traced the culprits and conducted a successful raid to arrest them.

It was revealed that the suspects were planning more robberies within the jurisdiction of Pak Colony Police Station. Upon seeing the SIU team approaching, they opened fire with intent to kill. The SIU tactically returned fire and managed to arrest three suspects.

According to the SIU, the arrested men have been identified as Shoukat, Nadir, and Khadim. Illegal weapons, stolen mobile phones, and a snatched motorcycle were recovered from their possession.

Reports indicate that the suspects were wanted in several robbery cases. Further investigation is underway, and significant revelations are expected.SACHAL NEWS -
