In 1995 and 1996, an English lyric remix of the song "Macarena" produced, co-written, and performed by The Bayside Boys climbed the Billboard Charts to number one, and stayed there for a record 14 weeks.
The song was a worldwide hit, and it is still heard today in movies, at events, and on the radio.
This is the story of Carla and Carlos, the two performing members of the Bayside Boys, and what happened before, during, and after those historic months in 1995 and 1996.
