Oak Aged Coffee Coconut Sasquatch Reserve

I received Oak Aged Coffee Coconut Sasquatch Reserve as a special gift from the legendary brewtuber The Beer PaTroll ‪@averagejoe716‬ . Thank you for this Joe!! This beer is brewed by 903 Brewers out of Sherman, Texas. Oak Aged Coffee Coconut Sasquatch Reserve is an imperial chocolate milk stout oak aged on coffee beans and coconut. I have been looking forward to trying this beer ever since Joe handed it to me. The beer poured out a dark, used motor oil color with the viscosity of motor oil and a fizzy tan head that dissipated quickly. The nose on the beer was magnificent. It started out with bold coffee and chocolate. After a few minutes of the bouquet opening up hints of coconut, oak and vanilla come through. The scents mingled together were reminiscent of home made German chocolate cake. Upon quaffing this nectar of the gods I was greeted with a nice big viscous body. Big notes of bittersweet chocolate, coffee and coconut com through strongly with hints of oak on the back end. This drinks like a liquid German chocolate cake. There is some nice sweetness to it making it an excellent desert beer, however it was not cloyingly sweet. There is absolutely no way this is 13% alcohol. This is one of the best beers I have had in a long time! Thank you so much Joe! It was awesome that you made the effort to stop by the get together on Sunday.
