Hiking Switzerland

Grindelwald, a village in Switzerland’s Bernese Alps, is a popular gateway for the Jungfrau Region, with skiing in winter and hiking in summer.

Bachalpsee or Bachsee is a lake with an area of 8.06 ha close to the First above Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. The lake, located at an elevation of 2,265 m, is split by a natural dam, the smaller part of the lake being 6 m lower.

Corippo is a former municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. With a population of just 12 inhabitants in July 2018, and dropping to 9 by December 2019 it was the smallest municipality in Switzerland.

Schäfler (1 925m/6 316ft a.s.l.) is a mountain in the Swiss Prealps in Switzerland. The prominence is 123m/404ft. There's a demanding hiking trail (T3) leading to the summit. Schäfler is one of the 3 peaks along the Öhrligrueb - Schäfler.
