2020-11-05 Our 8.5 Pound Cubbie Sure Gets Around!

Today's video has a little bit of everything. Overnight cubbie made multiple trips to room 3. Once he was left on the floor, and another time he experienced his first tumble off the rocks. And I threw in some grooming sessions as the way Mei handles her 8.5 lb cub amuses and amazes me! Then there is the scene where Mei Xiang is sleeping with cubbie in the den after her breakfast. Usually he is content to sleep too, but the bamboo barrier was broken and he didn't want to settle, so he practiced his walking skills! Later we got to see some closeups of cubbie before Mei Xiang cubbie-napped him to take him to the playpen. There was some nursing, Mei tried to leave but his call brought her back, and then snuggles ensued before the camera switched to Tian and outdoors.

Cubbie is now heavier than big sister Bao Bao was at the same age ... at 77 days of age, she weighed 8.14 pounds, while he was 8.5 on day 75.
