EGR means(Engine Gas Recirculation).....cleaning the EGR valve involves spraying it with a dedicated EGR cleaner to loosen stubborn carbon deposits. It can also be done with compressed air, or a soft brush to remove the buildup and then reassembling it after ensuring all passages are clear. This process is necessary to restore engine performance when the valve becomes clogged.
