Keith Richards is not the only Rock star that should be dead. I'm sometimes surprised that Zeppelin's Jimmy Page is still with us while, it feels like, hundreds have died in the last few years.

When Three Dog Night first broke up in 1976 Negron was knee deep in a serious heroin addiction it took multiple trips to rehab until he finally got clean in 1991. Three Dog Night got back together in 1981 but Negron only stayed until 1985. His two singing co-horts Danny Hutton and Cory Wells kept going. When Wells died in 2015 at the age of 74 I had a reality check, thinking I always thought Chuck would died first. Then Keyboardist Jimmy Greenspoon died in 2015. He was 67. Bassist Joe Schermie passed in 2002 at 56 and Chuck is still here and touring. Three Dog Night is Still a band with Hutton and the only other member from the classic line-up is guitarist Michael Allsup.

21 Top 40 Hits between 1969 and 1975. 11 in the top 10 and 3 went t #1 including “Joy to the World” their biggest hit which was one of the most popular songs of the 70's.

Chuck Negron is set to release the 4th edition of his book called “Three Dog Nightmare.” There a part in the book where he's at Cri-Help, a recovery center in Hollywood, asking God to just die or at least give him a minute of peace. CLIP 3

I told Chuck about my interview with late America singer Dan Peek who left his band 1977. He too had problem with drugs and did different editions of his book as well. Dan had told me he remembered more older stories and had new things to say in his book so I asked Chuck why the re-release?
