SAILING IN SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (wholesome content)

We got to celebrate Claire’s 23rd birthday in a city known for amazing food–– Seattle, Washington! We enjoyed some handmade xiao long bao, some delightful braised beef noodle stew, and the cutest chocolate mousse bulldog there ever was! The fun continued on to the next day, when our wonderful hosts, Grace and Tom, took us sailing on his 1980s Pelican sailboat out on Lake Union. We got to marvel at the Seattle skyline from the water, see all the many unique houseboats, and learn how to work a sailboat! After a long day out on the water, we enjoyed a wonderful home-cooked meal to end our memorable stay in Seattle. A huge thank you to Chad’s great aunt and uncle for being such excellent hosts and for opening up their lovely home to us both.
