Tigers of the Dragon Kingdom

Bhutan has recorded a marked increase in its tiger population. The latest National Tiger Survey found 131 tigers, an increase of 28 from the last count held in 2015.

Behind this roaring success is a government that continues to make unparalleled conservation efforts.

"Tigers of the Dragon Kingdom", a documentary supported by UNDP, offers a glimpse of all that Bhutan is doing to save the endangered species while at the same time protecting livelihoods of its farming population reeling under tiger-human conflict.

The documentary also captures the fascinating journey of rangers who travelled the length and breadth of the country tracking the 'hard to find and hard to count' elusive species through camera traps.
