My father, famous Hawaiian Guitarist, late Kazi Aniruddha who embodied the term " Singing Guitar" , left an indelible impression of the extremely popular song of that time, Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja from the same movie, in the early 70s' and set a benchmark through his rendition for the clan of guitarists. I have tried to play another song from the same movie. It is an extremely challenging number by the maestro R.D. Burman as it involves massive scale changes and it is very difficult to catch the notes. It is an extremely difficult song, not only to compose but also to play,as one is very likely to slip by half a note or so. This is a magnificient song replete with bright instrumental pieces and myriad rhythm patterns and clever links were built to merge different scales. This song is famous for scale changes. My heartfelt gratitude to my father, here is my rendition of the song. Hope you all like it.
