We just spent 3 days in Moab, Utah, running a total of 50.6 miles through the remarkable landscape. This was the first "stage race", or multi-day race, either of us has ever done. We were nervous about how our bodies would hold up! Would we be too sore on day 2, or on day 3, to keep going? Would we be hungry, tired, or covered in blisters. or anything else? This was nerve-wracking but amazing! It turns out that a stage-race is running's analogue to thruhiking -- we met a fun community, made great freinds, and did our bodies hold up...?
