1950年代，福建闽江。白花洲互助组长李银花（李玲君 饰）和共青团员杨小龙（史久峰 饰）自幼青梅竹马，有着共同的志向。小龙的父亲杨才发（张伐 饰）是单干户，在走互助合作的道路上父子俩有分歧。银花组里也有几个自私自利的人，他们因评工分不合理起过争执，后来银花主持公道，才化解了矛盾。小龙想借父亲生日让银花帮他做爸爸的工作，结果串门的安安（史原 饰）一通瞎说反而让杨才发更加生气。桔树闹起虫灾，杨才发想用独家“秘方”灭虫，结果失败。关健时刻，银花依靠上级党组织，从区上运来了杀虫剂和喷雾器，帮桔农们度过了难关

In the 1950s, Minjiang, Fujian. Li Yinhua (played by Li Lingjun), the leader of the Baihuazhou mutual aid group, and Yang Xiaolong (played by Shi Jiufeng), a member of the Communist Youth League, have been childhood sweethearts since childhood and have common ambitions. Xiaolong's father Yang Caifa (played by Zhang Fa) is a single household, and the father and son have differences on the road of mutual assistance and cooperation.
