These are some of the most difficult stories I’ve ever told but also some of the most important.

From being catcalled to being touched without consent, these experiences shaped a version of me that was once too scared, too confused, and too young to say anything. Some of it came from strangers. Some, heartbreakingly, from people I knew.

The last time I ever let someone make me feel that powerless was when I was 19. And the only reason I’m able to speak about it today without breaking down is because of therapy, support, and years of healing.

I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing it for the girl who still blames herself. For the person who thinks they “should’ve done something.” For the quiet voices who haven’t been able to speak up yet.

You don’t owe anyone anything.
You are allowed to feel safe.
You are not at fault.
