Teaching Lateral Flexion

I recently had a horseman from Mexico tell me that in "the old days" the horsemen would show how light their horses were by tying the reins to the bit with 5 strands of horse hair. I thought Id go one better and teach a young horse to flex laterally with a single strand of horse hair.
