Motorcades of Kamala Harris, Donald Trump, Joe Biden and JD Vance travel to 9/11 Memorial Service

Watch as the motorcades of President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, former President Donald Trump, and his running-mate J.D. Vance, head for the national 9/11 memorial in New York City.

On September 11th, 2001, hijackers took control of two planes and flew them into the World Trade Center in New York City, a third that hit the Pentagon in Virginia, and fourth that was brought down in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Thousands perished, including First Responders who put themselves in harms way. Each year this anniversary is remembered by a series of commemorative events held at the three locations.

This video shows some of the activity outside Ground Zero (at the World Trade Center) on the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Including the motorcades of attending Government officials and VIPs.

While the US President and Vice President always travel with a large motorcade, Donald Trump and JD Vance have had their motorcades increased in scale with full police escorts during the campaign period and after the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. Security for Presidents, Vice Presidents, their families and candidates is provided by the US Secret Service.
