Описание к видео John Deere 110, 112, & 200 Series Tractors - The Big Problem Most People Don't Notice

Many times people will think that just because a tractor's engine starts up and if the tractor then goes forward and in reverse there is nothing wrong with it and it's ready to work. This is not always true! This is where we get the scenario where someone takes a tractor into a repair shop for a simple pre season service and the repair shop calls them a few days later with a very expensive estimate for repairs. This usually leads to the customer questioning why the bill is so high when there is "nothing wrong with the tractor because it ran and drove" when they dropped it off. This is a very common when it comes to older equipment. When you watch the beginning of this video and see that the tractor runs and drives, it seems to be in usable condition. But as you see later, it is in need of some very serious and very expensive repairs. The worn hub problem is a very common issue with the John Deere 110, 112, 200, 208, 210, 212, 214,& 216 tractors. And as we show you, the longer the problem goes without being fixed, the worse the problem gets and the more expensive the repair will be. On a tractor in the condition of the one in the video, it becomes more a matter of if the tractor is actually worth fixing. To pay a repair shop to remove the transmission and make the repairs and then add in the price for the parts (hubs, bearings, gasket, oil, etc) you can wind up having much more than the tractor is worth wrapped up in just the repair of the trans/hubs. This is why this is such a crucial part of these tractors to keep an eye one and to check out before you purchase one of these old tractors. These tractors are antiques and a lot of people like to restore them to take to shows. If you ever decide this is something you would like to do, now you will know what to look for when you stat shopping around for your restoration project so you can save yourself some money.
