Grave Digger 1 Tribute

(Reupload - originally posted May 22, 2008). A tribute video to the first panel van Grave Digger monster truck. This Grave Digger truck debuted in the early '80s on tractor tires, but was eventually upgraded to full monster status, and later made it's TNT Motorsports television debut at the 1987 TNT Motorsports Supernationals in the Houston Astrodome. This is the Grave Digger that is famous for its first victory over the Bigfoot monster truck, at a January 1988 TNT race in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dennis Anderson campaigned this truck through the 1988 TNT Motorsports points series, before passing it to his brother Les, who ran the truck for several more years. After being retired in the early 1990s, the truck remained outdoors to rust, until being "resurrected" for a display at the 2007 Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada. The truck currently resides outside the "Digger's Dungeon" shop in North Carolina, on display with the Grave Digger #2 monster truck.
