Big Sur is basically a huge stretch of coastline between San Francisco and LA, so if you're on a road trip or just going from one city to the other this is a well worth it detour.
The goal of this video is to show you guys what to do in Big Sur if you can only come for one day ideally, you can come for a few days because it is incredible a massive area of untouched land and there are so many things to do, so much to see, so much to hike, so ideally spend more than one day here, but if you can only spend one day here like us,
here is exactly what you should do to have the best day ever.

Lovers Point Park is a popular park and public beach in Pacific Grove.
Located just 1-mile west of Monterey’s Cannery Row.
The park is ideal for a picnic. The rocks at Lover’s Point are fun
to climb around and the photo opportunities here are almost endless.
This is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Lovers Point is also, not surprisingly, a popular wedding venue and can be reserved through the city’s website.

Our second stop and we are at the iconic Bixby creek bridge,
and you probably recognize this from a lot of different movies, tv shows, commercials.
This is an absolutely iconic place to go in big Sur.
Bixby Bridge is a single-span concrete arch more than 260 feet high and 700 feet long.
You can park at a turnout at either end to take pictures.

Our fourth stop is Nepenthe.
Which is a beautiful restaurant right over the cliffs overlooking the water.
Nepenthe is an indoor/outdoor restaurant best known for its views,
but it also has an interesting history. The restaurant and surrounding land
have been in the family for over 50 years. It’s still a popular spot with locals and tourists alike.

Our fifth stop was McWay falls.
I'm not gonna lie I don't wanna say
it's disappointing because it's incredible, the beach is
beautiful and it's a waterfall but
definitely, it is not a top attraction on Big Sur.
If I had an extra day I would totally hike through the state park.
