A customer reached out to me for the purpose of finding a replacement battery for the Vtech VT9117 cordless phone. I quickly found out the batteries themselves were readily available. Finding one with a compatible connector was another story. I was able to find something thanks to an eBay seller from Italy. In short, I bought the battery pack 80-5074-00-00 and put the custom end on it. The 5074 pack fits on the VT9116 & VT9118 just fine.

I used the HQRP battery pack originally as it was the only one available on eBay that was supposed to be a fit for the VT9117. This pack is a little more expensive than other similar packs. As long as you find a pack that is in the ballpark of 3.6V and 400mAh you should be a match after surgery.
