Yoav Ilan - Dance Of Life

In the past 3 years, i have been volunteering at Can Seres Hospital, Ibiza, Spain.
In this special place, they take care mostly of old people with Alzheimer, Parkinson and other special needs.
Together with my fellow musicians at Samasound association, we organize music activities for them.
We sing together and we play music for them.
We even dance at the end of every session.

Some of these people have very little family and they are mostly alone most of the day.
They come into the room with their heads down.
They talk about their pains and you can see how tired they are inside of themselves.
By the end of a session, like a little miracle, they open up like small flowers.
they all dance and sing together with bright eyes.
For me, this is such a wonderful thing to see and feel, that words can not express.

Through this video, people are welcome to help and support SAMASOUND association,
in order for it to keep on helping and touching weak people with special needs, through MUSIC.
