EDIT/UPDATE (30/3): I'll probably get around to recording the other half of this world and World 2, but Desmume is very slow for me, and I don't have the patience to use it atm. ^_^

So, what would Super Mario World look like if it were ported to the DS, this! (unfortunately with no Yoshi) This has close to everything possible (without ASM hacking) you could have in a DS version; SMW Tilesets, backgrounds, edited sprite graphics, and even a nice new set of music.
