Brother and sister Pepíček and Aninku are too poor to buy milk for their sick mother. They sing for money in the street, but the evil organ grinder Brundibár chases them away. With the help of a fearless sparrow, clever cat, wise dog and the children of the town, Pepíček and Aninku are able to overcome Brundibár and sing in the market square.

Brundibár is on tour from February 2015 providing opportunities for children up and down the country to participate in performances of opera. We visit the Southbank Centre on 13 and 14 February, before heading to the Carnegie Theatre in Workington, Cumbria on 27 and 27 February. We're then at Watford Palace Theatre on 18 and 19 April before the tour culminates at the Young Norfolk Arts Festival on 28 June.
