We begin today's wrestling news and rumors video with a shocking developing rumor regarding the status of former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, and if what a lot of fans are beginning to speculate is true, then Gunther may very well be walking out of WWE and quitting in the very near future, possibly within a weeks time. Now as most of you are likely aware, things have been seeming very off in WWE over the past few days, and it all started with Carlito and especially R-Truth being unceremoniously released from WWE over the weekend which has created more backlash and fan outrage than Triple H and WWE could've ever imagined. R-Truth was just released on Saturday, and during the episode of Monday Night Raw two days later, wrestling fans were already getting on the "We want Truth" chants. Another bizarre thing that has recently happened is former WWE Champion The Miz unfollowing the company and removing all ties to WWE on his social media accounts, with many speculating that The Miz is the next legend to be released, and things have only gotten worse because it appears as though former World Champ Gunther has had enough with the BS in WWE. If you hadn't known, it was reported a couple of days ago that Gunther, much like The Miz, has removed all ties to WWE on his social media accounts, only keeping a few posts of his wife Jinny public. Now Gunther is going to be getting his rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso on Raw this coming Monday following Money In The Bank, and there's a chance that this could be Gunther's last WWE appearance which is absolutely insane to even think about. As some of you are probably aware, news had went around at the beginning of April, prior to WrestleMania 41, that Gunther had put the pen to paper and signed a new WWE contract towards the end of 2024, so it would certainly be wild if Gunther is going to be leaving just months after signing the new deal (WWE Hindi India Explained). However, when we look beneath the surface, it really wouldn't be surprising if Gunther has gotten fed up with WWE and wants to quit.
