On April 14, 2025, approximately 85 Muslim graves were desecrated at Carpenders Park Lawn Cemetery in Watford, Hertfordshire. Many of the damaged graves belonged to babies and young children. Local Muslim organizations have urged authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and implement measures to prevent future occurrences. They emphasize the importance of preserving the sanctity of burial sites and ensuring such acts of vandalism are not repeated.
