শোভন সুন্দর দাসের জন্ম কলকাতায় ১৯৭৯ সালে। সিটি কলেজ থেকে ২০০০ সালে কমার্স নিয়ে গ্র্যাজুয়েশন পাশ করেন। ছোটোবেলা থেকেই ইতিহাস, সাহিত্য ও বিজ্ঞানের প্রতি ভালবাসা ছিল। শৈশবে কিছু গল্প-কবিতার লিখেছেন যা স্কুলের পত্রিকায় ছাপা হয়েছিল। তবে পরিণত বয়সে প্রথম গল্প লেখা শুরু বন্ধুদের অনুরোধে ও উৎসাহে। একসময় প্রতিলিপিতে নিয়মিত লিখেছেন। তাঁর লেখা নেতুদা সিরিজের গল্পগুলি পাঠকদের যথেষ্ট পছন্দ হয়েছিল। মুদ্রিত গল্প হিসেবে ২০২১ সালে দেশ পত্রিকায় ‘অন্য পৃথিবী’ নামে তাঁর লেখা একটি কল্প বিজ্ঞানের গল্প প্রকাশ পায়। এ ছাড়াও ২০২২ সালে আনন্দমেলায় ‘ছায়া’ নামে একটি রহস্য গল্প এবং “পরিবেশন” নামে নেতুদার একটি ভুতের গল্প প্রকাশিত হয়েছে। প্রতিলিপিতে লেখা তাঁর বেশ কিছু গল্প যেমন, “মরণ বাঁশি”, “ঘূর্ণি”, “আলেয়া”, “আলো আঁধারি” বিভিন্ন অডিও স্টোরি চ্যানেলে অডিও স্টোরি রূপে প্রকাশ পেয়েছে। “মায়া মস্তিষ্ক” লেখকের প্রথম একক গল্পের বই। যা এবারের বইমেলায় খোয়াই পাবলিকেশন থেকে প্রকাশ পেয়েছে।
