Journalist Isabelle Kumar sits with Birame Sock, a digital entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years experience and an "eTrade for Women Advocate" for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

Birame has founded several successful start-ups in the US before returning to her home country, Senegal, in 2020, where she launched Kwely, an e-commerce platform which brings Made in Africa products to global markets.
