Big shoutout to Wayne Ire! He's got the crowd going crazy all the time everytime in the Porsche Club just off Regent street in Birmingham back in the 80's.

What you can hear is Wayne Ire playing, is the actual dub, which many young people nowadays just don't understand that this was what set the sounds apart from each other. To acquire the DUB plates you had to have a special made tune that was usually a trending track at the time and the artist would make a special track for the selecta (A Special).

Wayne Ire was apart of a new generation from an old generation (Legacy) that was making music before him and as the sound systems progressed so did his career and his sound "New Sensation"

There are too many Birmingham sound systems to give a precise number. Many blueses, clubs,pubs 7church halls in Handsworth, Balsall Heath, Small Heath, Erdington, Ward End, Lea Village and many many more areas had resident sounds and if you add the small sound systems that played at blues parties, shebeens, etc, there would be many hundreds. Sound systems in the Birmingham area.: Quaker City Mafiatone, Studio City, Wassifa, Jungleman, Jah Massigan, Sir Christopher, Duke Alloy Shirly sound, Maccatone , Yardman, and later Luv Injection and new Sensation just to mention a few.
