The first day of my visit in Miami saw me spend about 8 hours standing at the side of a road filming planes taking off from the southerly runway. Unfortunately as you will notice the fence is a big pain here at Miami Intl, after about 12 mins I moved to a different spot where I was slightly more elevated, and stayed there throughout the rest of the session.

Quite an insane amount of variety here at Miami too! A lot of stuff you don't see regularly in the UK. It was great to see lots of Cargo firms I have never seen before as well such as Tampa Cargo's A330's, Northern Air Cargo's 767 and many more! Perhaps the most rarest sight for me was a DC10 of TAB (Transportes Aereos Bolivianos), a 30+ year old frame! She took up every single bit of the runway on departure back to Bolivia as well, pretty impressive to watch. It was also nice to see some MD80's too in the form of Red Air and World Atlantic Airlines, operating charter services to the Caribbean

Despite the fence, I enjoyed making this video, the variety at Miami is insane, and definitely worth the visit if you haven't been already - I filmed another video from this spot the following day, unfortunately with westerly operations I could not find a perfect spot for landings, so another video of 27 departures with more airlines and carriers I haven't seen will have to do
