In the seventh annual showcase, selected doctoral candidates make short presentations, describing their dissertations in three minutes each. Topics include what happens when dead stars collide, comedy and the migrant experience, marijuana decriminalization and race, women’s shrines in fourth-century Lebanon, U.S.-Asian relations in postwar American theater, Black experiences of healing through creativity, and many others across a wide spectrum of disciplines.
